Amy Tinkler

Director

With a professional background in education as a Learning Diversity Leader, I am deeply committed to supporting children and families in need. My work focuses on creating inclusive environments where every young person can thrive, regardless of their learning or personal challenges.
Serving on the Board allows me to give back to the organisation that once supported my family, while helping ensure that future generations continue to benefit from the vital medical services and community support that Uncle Bobs makes possible across Victoria.

I am driven by seeing others thrive and become the best version of themselves. My strengths lie in leadership, creativity, and a genuine love of learning — qualities that underpin both my professional and community work. Outside of education, I am an active member of the sporting community, competing in athletics and cricket, and coaching athletics at a local level. I have also proudly volunteered at two Commonwealth Games and contributed to various fundraising initiatives for community and charitable organisations.

Why I volunteer for UBC

As a passionate community member, I strongly believe in the importance of giving back and contributing to organisations that make a tangible difference in people’s lives. My connection to Uncle Bobs Club is both professional and personal — my own family has experienced the incredible generosity of the Club and the life-changing medical care provided by the Royal Children’s Hospital.
