Director

Richard brings extensive leadership, governance, and community
service experience to the Uncle Bobs Club Board. As a General
Manager, Information Security, he manages cyber and technology risk
through a combination of operational oversight, strategic planning,
and executive reporting. His commitment to community service spans
15 years as Master of Ceremonies for the Victorian Cancer Council, 10
years as a part-time marriage celebrant, and ongoing engagement
through his successful podcast, 'Talking Cyber Security'. Richard has
served on multiple Advisory Boards, bringing strong communication
skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of volunteer
leadership to board governance.
Richard has fond memories as a young child watching the Victorian
Good Friday Appeal and seeing the incredible work that Uncle Bobs
Club has been doing for many years. After being diagnosed with
cancer in 2004, he discovered the profound satisfaction that comes
from giving back to the community.
