When you sign up to Shopnate, there is an option to download a program called “Easy Fundraiser”.

To do this

• click on Download Donation Reminder.
• Once this is downloaded, browse the internet by using Google. Easy Fundraiser will highlight partner retailers
• Whenever you visit a partner retailer Easy Fundraiser appears at the top of your screen. Click the button “YES – ACTIVE DONATION”
• Easy Fundraiser turns green so that you know that any purchase you make means the retailer will donate to UBC.

Once activated the Easy Fundraiser turns green letting you know all your eligible purchases will count.

This varies from shop to shop and can either be a percentage of your shopping or a fixed amount.

No – shopping through Shopnate never costs you anything extra. The shops listed on Shopnate pay a commission to UBC because you made a purchase. The shops use their marketing budget to cover the cost so the price of the goods are not increased.

Yes! They understand safety and security is a big concern for you. Easy fundraiser has built and maintains Easy Fundraiser to ensure all data is kept securely. All your details are held privately and securely and store no shopper banking information.

Easy Fundraiser ONLY records information about a website you visit IF YOU click 'ACTIVATE'. The information is used to confirm any purchase that you make at that site. Shopnate holds all such information privately and it is not given to any third party unless specific approval has been provided by you.
